Exceptional sounding 1963 Stratocaster in great condition! The guitar has been refretted with big jumbo frets. Besides that and two jackplate screws that have been replaced with regular size pickguard screws it is all original. It has been played and doesn’t hide it – shows some honest playwear. This guitar has that big 63 neck everybody loves and it feels and sounds really really good. Big worn neck and big tone…this is one of those pre-CBS Strats that brings you a couple of new songs the day you start playing it. The neck is dated 2JAN63B, the body is dated 2/63 and the 3 pots are dated 304.63.02. The electronics in untouched, the three black bottom single coils read 6,28K(N), 6,17K(M) and 5,97K(B). The weight is 3495g. Another great example why the laminate rosewood board pre-CBS Strats are so sought after and simply an outstanding instrument! Comes incl. original case and bridge cover.
