We purchased this second year Fender Jaguar from the original owner in or shop. He bought it new in 1964 in Germany. The guitar is in excellent condition and all original besides a pro refret with 6105 frets we had done by our luthier! It still has the desired “flatpole” pickups that sound a bit warmer and less “surf” than the later staggered versions. It’s got some wear on the back but the lacquer is overall pretty clean and shiny. Great instrument with that big fat 63 neck most prefer over any other year! Comes incl. original brown tolex case.
