Very nice late 1962 curve board Stratocaster in great condition. The guitar has been played and loved and does not hide it – some honest wear that makes it looks just right. Unfortunately the original logo decal only shows the Fender logo, the rest has been wiped off (you can still see the decal but the letters are gone). There is a treble bleed cap on the volume knob and there are some older touch ups – otherwise it’s original. It’s been used as an instrument – for a good reason: it’s a great sounding example of why pre-CBS Starts are sought after for decades. Sweet tone, great resonance… Nice figuring on the maple neck, great profile, not thin at all but not too beefy. Early curved board, just a few months after the slabboard era. Comes incl. original brown Fender case and bridge cover.
