1962 Fender Stratocaster - Sunburst

"Slabboards" became the most desirable incarnations of the Stratocaster models in the recent years for sure. Since those models are the only versions where the frets only touch the thick rosewood fingerboard as opposed to the later veneer board guitars, you really notice the thicker and darker sound of the fretboard. Fender used the slab rosewood boards from mid 1959 until mid 1962. This clean late 1961/early 1962 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst finish in excellent+ condition. It's very lightweight with only 3250g! Super clean and deep Sunburst finish with almost unfaded red! Only very minor play-wear even the green-guard is crack-free! Great addition to any collection - this is how you ant your slabboard Strat! The guitar comes in its orig. brown Fender tolex case incl. strap and bridge cover.
