1962 Fender Stratocaster - Olympic White w/Slabboard
This is such an amazing guitar... the perfect Strat for many players and collectors for sure. Olympic White over Desert Sand undercoat, no clear coat, dark slab rosewood fingerboard and clay dot inlays... and on top of that the neck shows some nice flames on the back. Nice bigger profile, typical for an early 62. The guitar is all original besides a filled tiny hole from a second string tree on the headstock. The first Olympic White colored models still looks bright white since Fender didn't use a clear coat that usually yellows over time. This is a typical example with Desert Sand used as undercoat - looks pretty amazing when you see the Desert Sand color through the worn off Olympic White spots! Really really nice one - and it even sounds superb! Big tone, great feeling neck and for sure a great investment! Comes incl. original brown tolex case, bridge cover, original Stratocaster manual and matching serial number hangtag!
