1961 Gibson ES-335 TD – Sunburst

The Iconic Dot-Neck PAF ES-335! Exceptional and clean 1961 Gibson ES-335 TD in a stunning Sunburst finish. The color remains rich and vibrant with minimal fading, and only a tiny ding near the lower strap button on the front of the body. This guitar has three professionally repaired vertical hairline cracks — one down the center of the neck (a common issue with these slim-neck models) and two along the sides, likely from transportation damage. These are not headstock breaks — just minor crack lines that have been expertly repaired and are completely stable. During the refret, the binding was also replaced. The repair work throughout is truly outstanding. Equipped with a pair of highly sought-after PAF humbuckers, this guitar delivers the classic, rich tone that has made these pickups legendary. The neck features the slimmer 1960/1961 profile and plays beautifully. Factory lightweight stop tailpiece, original ABR-1 “non-wire” bridge (with a newer screw on the low E saddle, original saddle intact), and a full set of original Kluson “double ring / single line” tuners. Includes the original black Lifton hardshell case with yellow lining.
