Fender Duo Sonic in Sunburst finish and all original! In 1961 Fender switched from Desert Sand to Sunburst so this one is one of the first Duo Sonics aieth Slabboard and Sunburst finish. It's been played but only has minor wear and is in very good overall condition. The electronic is untouched with two "black-bottom" single coil pickups, the pots are coded 304.61.52 (52th week of 1961) and the neck is dated 12-61 and has a typical fuller late 61/62 C-shape. The original frets are still in good condition as well. The guitar the authentic Pre-CBS Fender tone and feel! Although it's got the short scale length this guitar is far from being a toy – it's just as good as it big sisters and will outdo any new Custom Shop Fender within a heartbeat! Comes in it´s original tan tolex case w/yellow plush lining.
