1960 Fender Stratocaster
Sunburst
Art.Nr. FE60STRAT51572
One of the best Sunburst Slabboard Strat in the world right now. One of the cleanest pre-CBS Strats we’ve had so far and definitely one of the most spectacular: This early 1960 Stratocaster belonged to the collection of the late André Duchossoir, famous author, Fender/Gibson historian and guitar collector. It’s been pictured in the famous book “The Galaxy of Srats”. The neck of this guitar is just out of this world, flamed all over, really stunning. The body shows barely any wear, strong color and such a nice appearance! This is a true museum grade piece of history! The neck and middle pickups have been rewound – something that happens more any more. The ultra thin pickup wire often has a short and has to be repaired. Those pickups were not designed to last 70 years so we see more and more guitars with dead pickups caused by corrosion even when they are sitting in the case or on the wall. Everything else is original, it comes with rare late 50s hang tag with matching serial number, manual, strap, strings and polish cloth. It also come with a letter from Daniel Duchossoir. Original brown tolex case.
