What a guitar… this all original 1959 Gibson ES-345TDSV is one of the first 345 models Gibson ever made. It still has the desirable thin top, the long pickguard and black Varitone ring. Perfect 1959 neck shape, “Mickey Mouse”-ears…and only minor playwear – it’s in excellent/exc+ condition. There is some wear on the fretboard and a few dings and dongs but the overall condition is outstanding clean. The color faded only a little bit and is still strong – very nice carving on top and back. If the 58/59 thin-top laminate 335 guitars are “Burst-Killers” – this ES-345 is right there with them. And really clean 1959 ES-335 models are already almost twice as much as this one… Comes incl. original brown Lifton case and original stereo cable!
