1958 Gibson Les Paul Custom – Ebony Ex-Keith Nelson

What about a Rockstar owned 50s Les Paul? Yes. This 1958 Gibson Les Paul Custom came from Buckcherry’s Keith Nelsons collection. It’s a killer sounding guitar with that perfect neck. It once had a Bigsby leaving the typical “snakebite” on the top but it originally came as a factory stoptail. There are some touched up spots on the top and the back of the neck, going along with some clear coat oversprayed areas. This is inly visible in UV light. It’s ben refretted – of course since it was owned and played by a pro. This is why it’s priced really nice – for a break free (!) 1950s PAF Les Paul! Talking PAF – it comes with 3 PAF humbuckers. The middle one had the magnet flipped so it has a very usable middle position sound and it’s not out-of-phase. Stratty vibes! Really cool. Original plastic parts of course. Original Grover tuners. There is an old listing from a US dealer you can easily find online for further provenance. As opposed to this ad we figured out the stoptail is a later replacement – common when guitars had a Bigsby at one point in the past. All three positions sound great, very versatile guitar with tons of sounds in it. It plays so nice, you can tell it was used to create music. The neck is a dream! Comes incl. original black Gibson case with yellow plush.
