1958 Fender Duo-Sonic - Desert Sand incl. orig. tan Tolex case
Rare 1958 Fender Duo-Sonic in Desert Sand finish and all original! This is the first 50s Duo-Sonic we had in many many years and by far the cleanest we've seen. The 50s lacquer is so thin, it usually wears through very quick, especially when played by students! The guitar has barely been played, so there is almost no visible play-wear, it just has a few dents here and there. The electronic is untouched with two "black-bottom" single coil pickups, the pots are coded 304.8.07 (7th week of 1958) and the neck is dated 6-58 and has that classic 1958 round C-shape. The original frets are still in very good condition. The guitar has the tone of a 58 Fender guitar -pure magic! Although it's got the short scale length this guitar is far from being a toy - it's just as good as it big sisters and will outdo any new Custom Shop Fender within a heartbeat! Comes in it´s original tan tolex case w/yellow plush lining.
