One of the first PAF-equipped humbucker Les Pauls ever made! Clean 1957 Les Paul Standard Goldtop in excellent condition. Interestingly we had a few 1957 Les Pauls from that batch with 739XX serials even another one with only one number away! It’s all original and in great condition – the finish is actually pretty clean for a Goldtop. There are two marks were former stickers preserved the finish from aging but otherwise it’s super nice with some typical weather checking. The two PAF humbuckers still have no stickers and the sharper edged brushed covers since it’s basically one of the first electric guitars equipped with humbuckers in history! All 4 Centralab pots are dated 134.7.01 (1st week of 1957). Wonderful sounding guitar with great neck and everything you would expect from a holy grail guitar… Comes with original brown Gibson case and even including hangtags and ABR-1 manual!. Guitar has been refretted with Jescar 5110 frets.
