1956 Fender Telecaster – Blond

If you were looking for a magical 50s tele with some issues that make it a bit lower priced than a super clean one… read further! This wonderful 1956 Telecaster has that dream V-neck. Big meaty V profile, new frets – plays just perfect. Neck and body are dated 6-56. The dark circuit capacitor has been removed and now its usable for the player with all 3 pickup positions. There was some overspray on the top but it has already been worn off almost completely. Both pickups are rewound, the neck pickup cover is a newer one. There is a second hole from another pickguard on the horn – but the pickguard is original. There have been Schaller tuners installed at some point leaving the typical marks as well as a small but structurally not important crack on the side of the headstock and low e-string – original tuners are back on. There is a hole from a second string tree. Otherwise that guitar is original, original pots, hardware, finish… that neck is just right. It sounds amazing, thick – not harsh at all – just like a very good 50s Telecaster should sound. Comes in newer Tweed case.
