1954 Gretsch 6128 Duo Jet Script Jet – Black – rare first batch!

Super rare – one of the first 150 Gretsch 6128 Duo Jets ever made! This version is called “Script Jet” because it features the old script Gretsch logo. Its also missing the block marker on the first fret which only appeared within the first batch with serial number range between 11900 through 12049 – this is 12038. The guitar is all original (original deformed pickguard comes in case) and in excellent+ condition. The guitar that started the whole Jet range – very classy look and vibe! Sounds as good as it looks! A stunning guitar and a great addition for any collection! It’s in Germany since more than 30 years and was stored away in it’s case ever since. Comes incl. it’s original case, polish cloth and two extra bridges.
