1954 Fender Stratocaster
Sunburst
Art.Nr. FE54STRAT0273
Wonderful clean June 1954 Stratocaster in Sunburst. First year of the Stratocaster and being dated June 54 it’s still one of the highly desired pre-production models with short skirt knobs and “football” switchtip, no worm route, 100K pots and the “teardrop” trussrod channel dowel. The guitar is in stunning condition, excellent/exc+. The bridge pickup has been rewound long time ago with the correct wire – looks already old and going along with that the solder on the volume pot was redone as well. This happens more often recently since those old pickups are not designed to live forever. Other than that it’s all original, no changed parts. This guitar comes out of a larger private collection and has been well taken care off. The beautiful two tone Sunburst finished body shows barely any wear, the fragile bakelite Pickup-covers are all intact and all the chrome/nickel hardware is in excellent condition as well. What a great sounding guitar and a unique piece of history. First year Stratocaster in this condition is the perfect investment and a great addition for your collection! Comes incl. it’s original ‘poodle” case.
