Clean 1953 Gibson Les Paul Standard – second year of the Les Paul and still with the trapeze-tailpiece. Besides a binding repair on the neck (maybe it was loose and has been re-glued) it is in excellent+ condition. Super nice example of the earliest Les Paul model with beautiful clean Goldtop finish. You can see the structure of the wood grain through the different weather checking patterns on the top – super cool look! The guitar is super lightweight with only 3,76kg and plays really good. An optional Mojoaxe bridge is available in our shop. It’s all original, the 4 Centralab pots are dated 134-3-20 (20th week of 1953) and the P90 pickups read 7,31K (N) and super hot 9,76K(!!!) in bridge position. It comes with a later case.
