1953 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop

Art.Nr. Vi53GiLPGt32058

Clean 1953 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop in great condition. This beautiful early Goldtop already has the corrected neck angle and the thinner factory wraparound tailpiece. The guitar has a big neck profile and s super dark rosewood fretboard. The electronic is all original, all 4 Centralab pots date to 1953 (134.3.23 – 23th week of 1953). It’s got a good weight with 4,09kg. The original P90 pickups read 7.71K (B) and 7,62K (N). It’s been professionally refretted for much better playability. There is a small binding repair on the bottom (about 1cm) and the original toggle switch tip and jackplate are broken but come with the guitar in the case. Besides that there are no cracks or hidden repairs. Wonderful 50s Gibson Les Paul, great investment and collector’s piece but also a great sounding player with that holy grail tone – nothing comes close. Comes in original brown Gibson case.
