1952 Gibson Les Paul Regular – Goldtop

First year 1952 Gibson Les Paul “Regular” in excellent condition. The guitar was purchased in the early 1990 in the US. Super clean guitar and all original besides it had Grover tuners at some point but now the original tuners are back on. The guitar is otherwise exceptionally clean with untouched solder joints. We kept the original tailpiece to keep the original look but add a Mojoaxe tailpiece to make it fully playable. The original bridge design was faulty and almost not playable even to “vintage” standard since it was not possible to rest the palm on the bridge or dampen the strings. This is why there are a few nice working solutions like the Music City or Mojoaxe bridge that work without harming the guitar by drilling holes on the top. There is some discoloration in the wood around the heel but after careful inspection we can confirm its just grain. Really beautiful example of a first year Les Paul!
