1952 Fender Telecaster – Blond
The 1952 Fender Telecaster – the Blackguard. What a great playing and sounding example! The Blackguards became super sought after during the years – they not only symbolize the start of the electric guitar in general, they sound and look so nice. This one just arrived from the US, its in original condition besides some small service/repairs that have been done in 1980: Its been refretted with Jumbo frets and got a new bone nut – along with that work most of the paint of the fingerboard was taken off. It also had replaced pots but the original ones are back in, it has the modern wiring, no dark circuit. The original repair tag mentioning the things that were done is still there – great provenance and great to have that as a part of the guitars history. Other than that it’s like it should be – the bigger frets make it play so good! The finish has thew typical play wear but overall it’s still in great condition, most screws are still the slotted screws. Nice neck profile, definitely not too chunky. Comes incl. original thermometer case and bridge cover!
