1942 Gibson L-50 Banner Logo
War-time Banner logo Gibson L-50 acoustic archtop guitar in Sunburst finish, original (besides changed tuners) and crack free. Plenty of wear on the top and heavy finish checking – a true survivor that sounds as you’d expect when you look at it. Introduced in 1932, this is already the second version with bigger 16″ body, unbound fretboard and brown tortoise guard. Arched back maple body with beautiful flames on the back and solid spruce top. The 1-piece mahogany neck has a big round profile but is very comfortable to play. Many war-time/Banner guitars dfidn’t have a trussrod, this one has it and has a great low action. Comes in its orig. black case.
