1971 Gibson Les Paul Standard 58 - Goldtop

One of Gibsons early attempts for a 50s LP Reissue, called "Standard 58" it was actually a reissue of a 1954 Les Paul. All original and in excellent condition, some minor play wear, mostly on the backside of the body, some greenish oxidation on the upper side of the body. It had changed tuners at one time, the original Kluson tuners are back on. They did everything right on this one: chunky 1-piece neck, 1-piece mahogany body with thin binding in cutaway, small 50s-style headstock, aluminum lightweight tailpiece. The bridge P-90 measures 8,37K, the neck pickup reads 7,97K. In our opinion comparable to original 50s LPs! Only a few where made, 25 in 1971 and 1046 in 1972. This already is the next hunted collectable Les Paul model, but it's still affordable compared to what happened to 1968 and also 1969 Goldtops! Incl. it´s orig. black Gibson case with pink interior.
