1965 Fender Stratocaster - Fiesta Red (Refin)

1965 Fender Stratocaster which has been stripped and refinished in Fiesta Red in the 80s. The color looks really good and already shows some nice weather checking. Great vintage appearance, especially with the "green-guard" and superb sound! Other than the refin and a professional refret job in 2001 the guitar is all original, it's still an L-series backplate, all three pots are Stackpoles stamped 304.65.32 dating them to 32nd week of 1965, the neckstamp reads 2 SEP 65 B and the three "grey-bottom" PUs are dated Nov/Dec 1965. The guitar is nice lightweight with only 3,4kg and the neck has a bigger, fuller profile and feels really good in your hand! Comes in original black Tolex case.
