Super cool 1958 Gretsch 6128 Duo Jet Black in very good condition. This instrument has been played so there is typical playwear, especially on the back but the binding is actually still in great shape. The original electronic is untouched with original solderjoints, the pot dates are 134.7.08 (8th week of 1957), the original DeArmond PUs have strong outputs and sound amazing in that guitar! Original tuners and no modifications other than that the pickguard has been replaced with a new one. We carefully checked the back of the headstock and can confirm it’s no crack or repair, just texture and color of the lacquer/wood grain. It’s got a low action and great playability, it’s lightweight with only 3,21Kg …a great looking axe with tons of mojo!!! Comes in original grey Gretsch hardshell case.
