1974 Fender Stratocaster in supe rare custom color Lake Placid Blue in excellent condition. The guitar is all original, has some minor play wear and only a few dings and dongs. The clearcoat yellowed over the time so the Lake Placid Blue color turned into green depending on the viewing angle. The original blue color can be seen under the pickguard. There is a layer of shielding lacquer in the cavity that has been added in the past. The 3 grey bottom pickups are stamped dating to 1974, the pots codes are 137.74.3X and the neck is stamped 22MAR73. Fender only did a few custom color Strats in this peroid – a great collector’s item! Including it’s original Fender tolex case.
