Zeitgeist guitars are built in Frankfurt/Germany, in our home town by our luthier Mathias Schindehütte. Mathias is a well-established Frankfurt-based luthier with comprehensive experience in repair and restoration of high-end and vintage guitars, who also builds his unique design Zeitgeist guitars and basses. The Zeitgeist line includes solidbody, thinline and hollowbody designs with various pickup and hardware configurations, as well as vintage and modern finishes of the highest standard.
The Zeitgeist design takes vintage tone & feel to a modern level and has it’s own unique look and character. This Zeitgeist Bass is an extremely resonant bass, great e-String with fat punch. It features an alder body, maple neck with bound indian rosewood fingerboard, Hipshot ultralight tuners, Classic Fender bridge, 2x Vol, 1x Tone control. There was a Stingray humbucker installed and after it was filled the bass was refinished in Stone Blue nitrocellulose lacquer. The pickups are Aguilar Super Doubles.
