THE P.A.F. Clone Made in Germany. Our long time friend Andreas Kloppmann is winding pickups for decades and is chasing THE tone constantly. He analyzed so many original Gibson and Fender pickups, had so many discussions with musicians, players and collectors and has that special in-depth attention to detail that we definitely can say: he knows about vintage guitar tone. Better than most others out there. We’re happy to have some of his wonderful products in our shop now! The HB-59 was always our set of choice and we don’t need to describe it better than he already does on his website: The HB 59 Set is my interpretation of the legendary ´59 PAF. (…) It sounds more direct or rather more like earthy Blues and Rock with names like Eric Clapton and his Beano Sound, Gary Moore but also Billy Gibbons ´59 Les Paul, Pearly Gates and the sounds they produce. The set is also available as an LC version without caps in Zebra or Double Cream finish.
