Masterbuilt by Joe Williams: This Jackson Custom Shop Falcon is a true masterpiece! 27 frets and a 25.1″ scale – roasted ash body with walnut top and caramelized maple neck. Here is what Joe says anout this guitar: This is a model from the 90s that was built primarily in Japan. I apparently forgot to get a bench shot of it, but was able to find these pictures from the event archive. This guitar has a figured walnut top I had in my stash for a while. I thought it would look cool on this model since the figuring had a wing-like vibe to it. The Falcon was historically a 27 fret model. Since I started building this one around the same time I was making the last @brandonellisgtr custom, I paired the 27 frets with a 25.1” scale like Brandon’s gold/crackle Kelly. This guitar also has a killer one-piece cooked ash body, and caramelized maple neck with stainless steel frets. The Pearly Gates humbucker and STK-1 are selectable with the push/pull volume.
