The famous “Brock/Dapra/Believer” Burst… truly special guitars often have many names! The 1959 Les Paul #90913 owned by collector, author and Burst enthusiast Vic DaPra…one of the most beautiful Sunburst Les Pauls in existence. Of course there are plenty of recreations of this guitar and it was not necessary to change anything for our limited run of 5 guitars with this color. The color sample was Page 74 of the Beauty of the Burst book and we handpicked the tops for this run in Nashville. The deep and rich Sunburst finish, paired with the flamed maple has such a classic look…this is the beauty of the Burst! The Murphy Lab Light Aging with that naturally checked super hard lacquer makes sure it’s got a lightly broken in feeling and appearance of a well aged piece of history.
