This 1968 Les Paul Custom was made famous by Mick Ronson during his time with David Bowie and is heard on the Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust, and Aladdin Sane albums. Not to mention recordings with Lou Reed, Ian Hunter, Bob Dylan, Mott the Hoople, and Pure Prairie League. The top finish had been stripped, influencing countless other guitarists to do the same with their Les Paul Customs – to the point where this is called a “Mick Ronson” mod. This official recreation of Mick Ronson’s 1968 Les Paul Custom features Murphy Lab aging with an Antique Natural plain top. T-type pickups, Grover tuning keys as well as the mis- matched knobs round out this guitar to capture the sound and vibe of the original instrument. Limited to 100 units, the Mick Ronson Les Paul Custom comes with a custom case and commemorative Certificate of Authenticity.
