There is at least one Gold 1968 Custom known to exist and nobody actually knows why Gold Customs are such rare birds since then? Well, we won‘t change history but we‘ll give you the opportunity to now own the ultimate Goldtop with 1968 Les Paul Custom specs. It‘s the maple top and long tenon construction with beautiful „Double Gold Top“ finish and it’s Murphy Lab Light Aged – our favorite aging option since it not only has a very authentic weather checking and doesn’t go too far – it furthermore has that super hard and almost brittle Murphy Lab lacquer which alone is a reason to get one of these! Good weight with 4240g.
