Super nice deep and dark Cherry Sunburst colored Gibson Custom Shop R9 in Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aged finish. The Murphy Lab guitars have a totally different lacquer than the standard models – it’s not only about the aging, the lacquer is much thinner and harder and will age naturally when you use the guitar. The Ultra Light aging is a good starting point, it has some natural weather checking but the rest is up to you and your own history with the guitar! This is a wonderful Les Paul that looks almost like they left the factory in 1959 – unfaded and with super nice top!
