This guitar was a project we tried to realize for many years and finally made it happen – our own replica of a guitar Gibson made for Slash in 1990. Basically the first “Slash Signature” that never went in production. The original guitars were basically Les Paul Classic with slim neck and flamed maple top in translucent Cherry color. Our model is based on the 1959 reissue and comes with black plastic mounting rings, two double black Custombuckers and black chrome hardware. Like the original one it has a black back and personally handselected maple tops by GP in Nashville! The neck is a V3 neck, actually the larger 1960 neck which has just a hint less meat than the 59 profile – not anywhere near slim taper, more like an authentic 59ish profile. This “run” is limited of only 2 guitars and that’s it. The cool thing is they come with a single-ply black pickguard and two black chrome pickup covers – so they can be even more customized by their new owner for a totally new awesome look!
