Our own run in Lemon Burst with Stinger, originally inspired by one of our favorite 1959 Les Pauls. This is one of the last examples — a 2026 model featuring unpotted Custombuckers in Zebra and Double Black. It comes in a beautifully rich, slightly darker Lemon Burst and features a top we hand-selected in person in Nashville. What does that mean? We go through hundreds of maple pieces, carefully studying the flame pattern of each one. By hand, we move the wood, choose the most promising side, and draw the Les Paul shape onto it to get a sense of how the finished guitar may look. We select specific figuring patterns for specific models. Each chosen piece is then numbered and will eventually become the beautiful top of a GuitarPoint Paul. The remaining specs are classic R9, including the Carmelita neck profile. Perfect weight, great looks.
