Do you know “Spot”? 1959 Les Paul Standard serial number 91688 – made famous by Joe Bonamassa who owned it for some time. We had it in our shop and have seen and played a few times afterwards too. This is Gibsons “replica” or furthermore a 1959 reissue matching the color of the guitar pictured in the book The Beauty of The Burst page 86 AKA “Spot”. It has that dark spot on the bottom, unfaded color – for whatever reason. Of course two double white humbuckers. Pretty unique and pretty cool. The guitar matches the pictures pretty nice! Besides that its just a killer Murphy Lab Les Paul with perfect weight, great top and TONE!
