Inspired by the legendary Slash/Perry Burst – the November Rain wedding church guitar. In Gibson terms without harming any copyright laws “BOTB p.58” sounds nice, right? Those who know, know its “The Beauty of the Burst” book page 58 en voila its there. This guitar has a very distinctive Tobacco finish and has been released as artist run as well as BIOTB copies throughout the last decade several times. This example is really outstanding. Why? Because we have it for sale. No – just kidding. It just looks right! Super tasty appearance, beautiful finish, almost like if Murphy hand painted it. The guy who did that knew about vintage for sure. Great top as well, not too flamey, not unrealistic and so flashy that you have to excuse yourself to your bandmates for owning such an expensive guitar. It looks like an old Les Paul – which may be the purpose of a Murphy Lab! The neck has that perfect 59 profile, the weight is perfect too. Playing it dry you notice within seconds it got “that tone” – its a good one guys! And it doesn’t get any better.
