The “Custom” version of the ES-335 with double bound body, ebony fingerboard and split diamond headstock inlay. This one would be almost impossible to find as vintage original but it’s the layout that everybody wants: stoptail, mono, no Varitone – a 335 with elegant look and that special sonic attack of the ebony fretboard. These guitars have a unique voice, that softer approach of the 335 is balanced with the higher “ping” of the ebony board and lames it even great for sweet articulate lead tones.
