The maple top of this Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Reissue has been hand selected personally in the Nashville Custom Shop by GuitarPoint. We picked maple tops for our own guitars judging them not only by look but also by weight – to make sure they meet our preferences as one of the world’s most experienced Gibson Custom shop experts. This guitar was created based on the first official Gibson Slash signature Les Paul – but the one he actually played on the Velvet Revolver tour – he had a very nice flame top version of his Tobacco Sunburst colored model. This guitar features the typical double black open coil Custombucker pickups. The guitar includes two pickup covers and a pickguard if you prefer the “true vintage” look. Weight: 3810g.
