The 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Darkback – a legendary guitar… the Gold looks always better with a dark stain mahogany back. This is a Murphy Lab Light Aged example …well it’s more than light aged! The brittle hard and thin Murphy Lab lacquer is heavily checked and the guitar has the aura of a used and worn road companion. Beautiful Goldtop with great sonic attack and very open sound!
