The original 1957-1959 Les Paul Customs came standard equipped with three pickups – since three is more than 2 – only a handful came with the Standard configuration. Time told us that the two pickup versions are way more practical and thats why this 1957 Les Paul Custom is just perfect: all mahogany body, no maple top, big neck and big fat tone. Black is always beautiful on Les Pauls especially in combination with Gold hardware – well…thats why they call it the Black Beauty.
