This Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue comes in the Sunburst shade “Cherry Teaburst” – a bit less bright red, more brownish, like it the red of the Sunburst color faded just a bit but still with strong color. The Murphy Lab guitars have a totally different lacquer than the standard models – it’s not only about the aging, the lacquer is much thinner and harder and will age naturally when you use the guitar. The Light aging already comes with natural weather checking and some mild dents and dings/dongs that look like it’s been played but still well taken care of!
