Inspired by the legendary Jeff Beck Oxblood Les Paul – this is a limited run of a 1954 Les Paul Murphy Lab heavy aged with two humbuckers and the wraparound tailpiece. The finish is kind of close to the Oxblood – Maduro Brown. The finish had a nice background – it’s based on the cigar brand the former Gibson Custom Shop director Rick Gembar used to “chew”. A little different hue than the Oxblood finish but it goes in the same direction. Definitely a great sounding Les Paul, great feel and look, big neck and great aging!
