Inspired by a guitar that actually exists… an original 1965 Custom Color over Custom Color guitar which on top of that also has a nicely flamed maple neck. This original guitar inspired us to have Fender built us a guitar in Shoreline Gold over Lake Placid Blue… which turned out to be really really nice! It comes with a thick AAA flamed neck (Large C profile with 9.5 – 12″ fretboard radius!) and three Josefina wound Tone Bone (John Cruz) pickups! Fender decided to put a Spaghetti logo on a 65 – why not, now it’s a pre-CBS looking guitar 🙂
