Fender Custom Shop 1963 Stratocaster in Black finish – spec’d and ordered for GuitarPoint. 1963 is one of the most desired years of the Stratocaster, the last year with all pre-CBS specs before the transition in 1964. This is a Closet Classic version, no aging except for weather checking. Our goal was a Custom Shop guitar that still is a affordable as possible without any compromise in feel and tone. The mild aging gives it a broken in feel so you don’t need top worry about scratches when you use it in your band or even at home. The 1960 Oval C neck is comfortable, not too big, just right. The pickups are 1960 Strat pickups – perfect fit. 9.5″ fretboard radius for modern feel and 6105 frets – standard for today’s needs. Great sounding guitar with great vintage vibe and look!
