What’s more desirable than a slabboard Strat in rare custom color? Those are the ones… and this is why we decided to make one that’s a lot more affordable but still looks, feels and sounds amazing. The Fender Custom Shop didn’t disappoint us! This brand new 2022 Custom Built 1962 Strat has some nice specs which accommodate the player: It’s got an alder body in Daphne Blue with Heavy Relic treatment (very nice by the way) and a medium tint “Large C” shaped neck with thick rosewood slabboard, 9.5″ radius and 6105 fret wire for modern playability. The pickups we picked for this axe are all three Josefina Handwound 69 Strat (neck), reverse wound 65 Strat (middle) and Texas Special (bridge). The weight is 3,5Kg. Really nice one, we immediately fell in love with it. Comes incl. original case and all paperwork.
