Like new condition 2020 Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab 1957 Goldtop with Ultra Heavy Aged Option. The Murphy Lab guitars are a major improvement to the regular production guitars - it's not only the look. It's also the sound. The lacquer is super thin and bone hard. The weather checking is not done artificially by a knife, it's a natural aging process developed by Tom Murphy. This is a really nice example of a 1957 Goldtop Reissue with great feeling neck and very open sound. Transparent and with rich harmonics. The weight is 4,04kg - actually the perfect Les Paul weight for us. The guitar comes incl. all paperwork, COA and original case.
