It appears to be based on a pretty cool idea someone in the Custom Shop had and they were cool enough to make it happen. And it’s actually what a Custom Shop should do…doing things that are artistic, outstanding and special. This would be the opposite of your average Sunburst Les Paul. The Les Paul “The Element Aluminum AL13” features wood and metal. And the coolest Gibson logo in existence! The binding, the mounting rings, the knobs, the pickguard, the toggle knob and pokerchip…everything is made of aluminum. It looks really stunning and especially in combination with the Ebony VOS finish it looks super nice.
