This is a cool one! Masterbuilt by Dale Wilson, this 1958 style Stratocaster has a unique Black over Chameleon finish. The Chameleon lacquer is kind of a flipflop that changes from green to blue/purple depending on the viewing angle. Super cool guitar – it’s just the right amount of “craziness” – not too much but you’ll rule the stage with this one. A real eye-catcher. It has a “soft-V” spec neck but it actually feels really 58ish, more round with maybe just a hint of V. The fretboard has a vintage 7.25″ radius and the frets have vintage specs as well – a very nice and welcome alternative to the 6105/9,5″ “standard” and it plays really well. That’s how those vintage Strats actually were… all in all pretty accurate for that period. It also comes with a 12db active midboost and three Josefina handwound singlecoils: 69 neck pickup, Fat-50 middle pickup and Texas Special bridge pickup. Comes incl. original case and COA.
