2013 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1959 Skinnerburst – Joe Bonamassa’s Personal Tour Guitar!

We are proud to offer Joe Bonamassa’s personal Skinnerburst Prototype he played the entire 2016 Europe Tour! The guitar is Prototype number #2 of a limited Tom Murphy aged run from 2013. The Gibson Custom Shop did an exact replica of Joe’s famous 59 Les Paul nicknamed “Prinicipal Skinner” or “Skinnerburst” after the Skinner auction house where the guitar was sold. After owning dozens of Bursts, Skinner is still one of his all-time-favorite guitars. This Custom Shop run was sold out really quick and is still one of the most sought after limited run. The guitar is still equipped with the strings Joe played on the last show. The guitar comes with Joe’s original strap and a signed setlist of the 2016 Europe Tour. Besides it is a highly collectible artist guitar you can bet that it sounds amazing – otherwise Joe wouldn’t have approved it nor would have played it the entire Tour! This is your chance to own a piece of the younger Bluesrock history! If you wonder why the covers have been removed – ask Joe – he did it!
