One of the legendary 40th Anniversary Les Pauls the Gibson Custom Shop released in 1999… and it’s not a “regular” model which is sought after already…it’s one of a few that have been aged by Tom Murphy. Wonderful thin lacquer, much thinner as they were later and a very very nice aging, not the more “mass production aging”, a lot of attention to detail. Back then when these guitars were unicorns in the guitar shops. It comes with a letter from Gibson that confirms it’s a 40th Anniversary model and the warranty card from the distributor. We also have an official confirmation from Tom Murphy that he aged this guitar in October 1999.
