1997 was a good year for the R8! This color and flame pattern is typical for 1997 – wide wild flames and amber yellow lemon/butterscotch color. This one is a beautiful example of this period. The neck is not as big as some other R7/R8s in the past, more like a real 59 profile, round but easier to play. The former owner changed the capacitors to better paper oil caps but otherwise all parts are original. The guitar weights 4,09Kg, perfect Les Paul weight! Comes incl. original case (no COA in 1997!).
